Heart of Harvest Thanksgiving Dinner
This year the UCM Operation Jumpstart (OJ) team chose to hold our 2014 “Heart of the Harvest” Thanksgiving Dinner on the grounds of the UCM’s House of Hope, 8512 Mitchell Avenue in Sulphur Springs on Saturday November 22, 2014 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
On that Saturday with the Lord’s help a team of forty volunteers and their kids, put together an amazing Thanksgiving feast for approximately 121 of our homeless friends and needy families in the community who joined us for a hot meal and a great time of fellowship. The compliments on the meal and the event were many from our guests and volunteers. We were blessed and encouraged by a visit from our home church (citylife) senior Pastors Tony and Kaci Stewart and their beautiful girls Bayli Grace and Hadli Hope.
